Yesterday we trimmed a bunch of shrubs in the yard in the unseasonably cold and windy air. We still have a lot of work to do, but as you can see I need frequent breaks during yard work.

Kaya now likes to pick out her own clothes. Let me rephrase: she throws a tantrum if she doesn’t get to pick out her clothes. Her choices alternate between her elmo pajamas and her rabbit shirt. Today she chose her rabbit shirt with the bottom half of her elmo pajamas. So I chose my pajama pants too.

Epic luck
My recent days have been filled with training for Epic, UNC’s new electronic medical record that will roll out in a few weeks. The best part about it is the gigantic baby thrift store next door. Apparently it happens every 6 months for a week at a time and I’m definitely going back in the fall. Look how big the shoe room is! So grandmas, Kaya already has a two year old birthday party dress.
