Grandma Barbara knows the way to Kaya’s heart is through Elmo clothes. Thank you!

Pajama Day
Kaya now likes to pick out her own clothes. Let me rephrase: she throws a tantrum if she doesn’t get to pick out her clothes. Her choices alternate between her elmo pajamas and her rabbit shirt. Today she chose her rabbit shirt with the bottom half of her elmo pajamas. So I chose my pajama pants too.

Epic luck
My recent days have been filled with training for Epic, UNC’s new electronic medical record that will roll out in a few weeks. The best part about it is the gigantic baby thrift store next door. Apparently it happens every 6 months for a week at a time and I’m definitely going back in the fall. Look how big the shoe room is! So grandmas, Kaya already has a two year old birthday party dress.
Ridin Hy
This past weekend was the annual Kircher family reunion/dude ranch getaway. Some of the family was confused on the date of the weekend (oops!) so it was a smaller showing than in some years past, but we had a great time. Kaya LOVED the bounce house and Tommy even took her skiing (Tommy was on skis, carrying Kaya). The weather was cold, which was a welcome relief from the usual rainy 40 degree weather that is not very outdoor-friendly. Good food, great family, good times.
