I’m too busy with work and traveling to post any pictures of our activities, but check out this dog that Tom Sr. ran into today in Maryland!

I’m in Chicago for a meeting of the Alliance (cue Star Wars music – just kidding, it’s an oncology clinical trials cooperative group). To ease my baby-sickness (you know, like homesickness, except with babies), I am looking at pictures. Here’s a cute one from Home Depot last weekend. Clearly sisters in this one.

A big congrats to Uncle Dylan who is now a North Carolina Bar member and fully employed attorney!

The girls wore different costumes to their Halloween parade at school on Friday – a red-legged turtle (she’s got a shell back there) and a leaf-eating “Laneybug.”

The whole gang followed the yellow brick road to the Land of Oz last night! I swear Laney is under the lion mask in there somewhere. Happy Halloween.

Kaya is currently going through an “I don’t want to sleep alone stage.” As soon as we get around to it, the girls are going to share a room. But in the meantime, we insist on her sleeping in her room. And she insists on sleeping as close to us as possible. And this is the outcome. She also refused to put on her pajamas the night this picture was taken in typical threenager fashion.

We didn’t do much picture-worthy this weekend – so here’s a cute one of Kaya and one of her friends on the slide at the pumpkin patch last weekend.

Our Saturday morning now include soccer practice for Kaya in a league called Soccer Shots. I am amazed at the quality of the coaches, who can motivate a team of 10 3-year olds to follow directions and do soccer drills. Kaya has yet to truly grasp the point of the scrimmage, but she’s loving the dribbling and goal-scoring during the drills. The next Mia Hamm?
