Wouldn’t be my first choice for a pillow

Kaya’s best bud baby Trey is visiting from DC this week. In his honor, Kaya dressed to the nines in her “Single and Loving It” shirt but then refused to put on any pants. I tried to teach her the word “tease” but she just kept thinking I was saying cheese.

They are old enough now that they actually interact a little and it’s pretty cute. Not quite sharing, but playing together for sure.

I knew I’d find a use for our new sewing machine.

Sometimes Max and Kaya have a hard time figuring out who I’m speaking to, as I tend to use a similar tone of voice with the two of them.  Lately, this is what happens if I say “sit” sternly.

Mom, I’m going out.  Can I borrow the car?

One last picture from this weekend.  While Kaya did not get to party at the wedding (because Mommy and Daddy wanted to party), she did get to party with grandma beforehand.

I carried an entire extra bag of toys on the plane to Boston for Kaya’s entertainment.  Each toy lasted about 5 minutes, and we brought 15 toys for the 2 hour plane ride which took up 75 minutes.  Repeat toys last 1 minute each plus the airplane snacks and a diaper change rounded out the schedule.  Kaya did great, but I was exhausted.  Thank god for pop chips!

We spent the weekend at a beach mansion in Rhode Island for my cousin Maureen’s wedding.  It was a wonderful weekend and we couldn’t be happier for the newlyweds.  Congrats Maureen and Pat!

The last time my mom was visiting, I nabbed all the pictures off her camera to back up on our external hard drive. Today I decided to actually look through the pictures and found this cruel form of dog torture.  Also it should be noted that this is my old baby blanket, and now Kaya’s blanket.  Not sure how Marty ended up having a photo shoot with it.
